The run starts and finishes in Challenger Parade, opposite the City Beach Kiosk. You run south along Challenger Parade to Launceston Avenue, turn left into Launceston (running parallel to West Coast Highway) to the intersection of Oceanic Drive and West Coast Highway. Along past the City Beach Oval to beside the West Coast Highway, continue north along West Coast Highway to a turn around point and then back to Challenger Parade to the finish. Bring along your bathers and enjoy a quick dip in the sea after the run. If the wind is not blowing this park is wonderful for a picnic brunch.
