This is a Public Fun Run and an entry form must be used.

Entry on the day involves an extra fee.

This will be the 10th running of the Joondalup Fun Run. The event originated in 1992 through Landcorp to promote the Joondalup City Centre. The run has now become an annual community fun run with the West Australian Marathon Club organising the event since it's inception. Over the years, the participation has been between 500 and 1100 with the proceeds being donated to various charities. This year the proceeds will be donated to "3 Boys Legacy" which raises funds for brain cancer research in children in conjunction with Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. The event is being held as part of the Joondalup Festival for the first time and will incorporate a 5km (one lap) run / walk and a 10km (two laps) run.
