This has been quite a popular event on our calendar in recent years .
The course starts at the Point Walter Reserve. Runners head east and follow the cycleway/footpaths through the Attadale Reserve, Troy Park and then Tompkins Park. The course follows the road along Melville Parade, turns right into Dee Road, then up the hill of Fraser Road before about a 1km stretch along The Strand to the turn. The return journey is the same, with the hill up Fraser Road a trying test.
A good run for those venturing past 10km for the first time as well as preparation for the longer runs.later in the year.
