Time to jump off the couch, dust off the running shoes and train for spring to it

This training program is FREE for WAMC Members!

WAMC is proud to launch its Beginners Couch to 5km Training Program designed for those new to running, returning from injury, or for those just wanting some company and motivation.

The new 10 week training program will see you ready for the WAMC Col Junner Spring To It 5km race on 09 July 2023.

The program starts on Wednesday 3 May 2023 so register now at the WAMC website!

The program is free to members and will be led by experienced WAMC runners.

 Length – 10 weeks

Event – run the WAMC Spring To It 5km on 09 July 2023


  • Online via the WAMC 


  • FREE to members
  • Non-members $70 


  • Ten week running program
  • Two sessions per week led by WAMC member (Wed & Sun)
  • One (or two) run at home sessions per week

Program -

  • Coach - Vanessa Carson
  • Registration now open
  • Program start date - Wednesday 3 May 2023 – welcome and introduction run
  • All run sessions are time based

Sessions -

  • Wednesday 5:30pm at WAMC
  • Sunday - Burswood

Online registrations close on Wednesday, 24 May 2023 @ 05:00 PM, unless sold out prior. A late registration penalty is applied from the Saturday before the event (applies to non-members only).
