Tina Ingraham!
Topic: Keeping motivated, making your training fit into life!
After having her first child, Tina turned an interest in running into more of a serious hobby. Spending her 30’s and 40’s racing locally and internationally. She represented Australia in The Greatest Race on Earth series (Singapore Marathon 2007), her consistent performances at WAMC events, namely The Perth Marathon, opened doors for her to race in Japan multiple times. She was also selected for the World 50km Championships in Doha in 2014, 2015 & 2016. Now in her 50’s, she spends more time coaching runners from all abilities, using her experience gained from running over 50 marathons and ultramarathons. However, recently after facing adversity, she has resumed marathoning, running the Perth and Valencia Marathons in the past 5 months, and is looking at a full year of racing ahead. Tina joined WAMC in 2005 and has been an active member since. Join Tina as she shares advice on maximizing training, managing load, ways to remain motivated, as well as making performance gains.

Vlad Ixel is an ultramarathon runner who has completed over 60 ultra marathons and has represented Australia at the World Trail Running Championships four times Vlad is the founder of Bix Nutrition and will be sharing his knowledge on hydration, nutrition, and gut training for distance runners The talk will cover practical tips that runners can take away to improve their fuelling during training and racing

Director and Principal Podiatrist at SportsPod, Jason Rzepecki has over 30 years’ experience in sports podiatry and lower limb biomechanics. He has worked extensively with elite sporting teams and athletes, helping runners prevent injury, improve performance and stay moving.

Topic: Fuel, Hydration & Recovery for Endurance Runners
Cooper Rzepecki is a performance-focused sports dietitian who works with athletes and teams across a range of sports, including endurance and team-based competition. Using an evidence-based approach, Cooper creates practical, individualised nutrition strategies that support performance and recovery without overcomplicating everyday life. He also applies these principles in his own training as a long-distance runner.
In this session, Cooper will cover how to fuel effectively before, during and after race day, hydration strategies beyond just water, and which supplements are actually worth considering. With real-world examples and clear takeaways, this talk will help runners confidently apply sports nutrition principles to training and racing.
