Women's Classic Training Program

WAMC - Women’s Classic Training Program 2026

Length – 10 weeks (starts on 13 July 2026)

Event – run the WAMC Women’s Classic 5km or 10km on 20 September 2026

Targets

  • Existing members, new members, non-members
  • Those new to running – super good for beginners
  • Returning from injury
  • Want to join a fun running group for motivation
  • Want to train for this specific event

Registration

  • On-line via WAMC website
  • Will include waiver and questionnaire regarding running experience, and fitness level
  • All participants need to register and pay for the Women’s Classic 5kkm or 10km event separately (the WAMC training program does not guarantee entry to the event)

Inclusions

  • 10 week running program with WAMC Running Coach
  • Two sessions per week led by WAMC Running Coach (Wed evening & Sun morning)
  • One (or two) run at home sessions per week

Group Sessions -

  • Wednesday 5:30pm at WAMC Club rooms, 1 Camfield Drive Burswood
  • Sunday morning 7:30am (meet at the first gazebo just south of the WAMC club rooms in Burswood on Camfield Drive)
